Maggie Tamo had just celebrated her 35th birthday, however, that enjoyment of hitting a milestone was short lived by the discovery of Stage 3 Brain Cancer. Her world had come to a standstill, and would be forever changed. She was left with only one choice: to fight it and beat it.

In 2011, doctors had successfully removed 95% of the cancer and halfway through her chemotherapy treatment, she noticed her lymph nodes were swollen. After a trip to the doctor and multiple tests later, she was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer. In 2012, she had to stop her chemotherapy, in order to gain the strength to undergo yet another surgery.

After another successful surgery, Maggie turned to cannabis as a holistic approach to treat and alleviate her battle with cancer. Maggie had her cannabis, but she was overwhelmed with the abundance of information that was available to her in the “new world” of cannabis. She felt intimidated, however, Maggie realized that she couldn’t be the only one who felt this way.

Thus, Club Four20 was founded for the fundamental reason of helping people navigate the world of cannabis through simplification.
