For this recipe, figs are in the key ingredient! Because they are packed with enough natural sugars, there’s no need to add any sweeteners (fake, natural or otherwise) making them the perfect low-sugar treat. Additionally, figs are jam-packed with magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, copper and plenty of antioxidants! Isn’t that nice surprise?
4 fresh figs
1 cup almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
1/2 of a banana
1 tablespoon of almond butter or 1 tablespoon of chocolate powdered peanut butter
2 teaspoons cannabis infused coconut oil
- Place all ingredients into a blender and liquify
- Optional: If you’re in the mood for something sweeter, feel free to replace the tablespoon of almond butter with a tablespoon of chocolate powdered peanut butter. It tastes like pureed nutella which, predictably, is delightful.
